Night of the Living Dead (1968) – Five Facts – The First Modern Zombies

Tony takes on the George Romero classic Night of the Living Dead. He looks deep into the history of modern horror, talks about flesh analogs, and about the origins of zombie lore. The movie itself gave us our first look at zombies as they are known today.

Along with this he covers the performances of actors like Duane Jones changed the landscape. It occurred during the Civil Rights Movement and created quite the stir.

He also reflects on how shows like The Walking Dead and so many more wouldn’t exist without these influences.
